Splash
12 panels, 26 by 35 inches
In a mood one day to splash around bright colors I decided to just play. I started by working out a composition on my iPad using the InspirePro App. I printed this design and cut it into 12 squares to see how the design would look broken up. Enjoying what I was seeing I started to paint the 12, 8 by 8 inch canvases. These panels are all 1 ½ inches deep. After completing each top I painted the sides continuing the design over the edges. Looking at all 12 completed paintings I began seeing how one row or a group of 4 or 6 would look. Some are successful by themselves and some not.
