Trees

Through the years I have embroidered many trees of varying types and sizes. When I was coming to the end of the 80 with just 9 to go I remembered all the trees from the past. And, since I love combining indoor and outdoor images that do not belong together I thought about putting trees in teacups and other containers. The brightly painted backgrounds are actually the rainbow or color wheel if shown in a horizontal line. All the trees and their containers are created with free-motion machine embroidery.
